A Milestone Project Update

Construction of the Milestone Project’s 440,000-square-foot building is moving forward.

Development of the Milestone Project is moving quickly since the July groundbreaking. The building will have three floors dedicated to children’s healthcare and four floors for both children and adult services. It’s scheduled to open in summer 2010.

The support from our central Illinois community has been incredible. During the past few months, we have received generous gifts from:

CEFCU for $1 million
Lynn and Susan McPheeters for $500,000
OSF Saint Francis Auxiliary for $500,000
Jerry and Helen Stephens for $5 million
RLI Corp. for $1 million

In addition, one grateful family and one business have given anonymous gifts of $5 million and $500,000, respectively.
