About Our Department

Volunteer Services Mission
"To provide compassionate care to all patients and to
provide assistance to staff consistent with the goals of
the Sisters of the Third Order."
The Volunteer Services Department coordinates volunteer resources
to various departments and initiates programs to better serve
the patients, visitors and the community as a whole.
Department Goals
- Effectively
and creatively integrate volunteers into the total human
resource system of the medical center in order to take
an active part in meeting the goals
of the medical center.
- Appropriately
utilize each volunteer's background and skills.
- Develop
programs to meet the needs of departments and individuals.
- Recognize
the efforts and contributions of volunteers and provide
them with an opportunity for both personal and career
development.
- Continually
improve communication, training and education for volunteers
and medical center staff regarding
the volunteer program.
