Outreach Support Services
Clinical Client Representatives
The client representative provides a
wide range of services to the OSF System Laboratories outreach
clients. A client representative's duties include the dissemination
of information and education to our physicians, client
office staff, and laboratory personnel. This includes
maintaining a directory of services testing manual,
updating a physician/office database, and composing
a monthly newsletter. Office in-services are also
presented to educate staff in regard to new procedures
and processes. Problems ranging from ordering/testing
errors, billing complaints/corrections and courier issues
are personally addressed by the client representative. A
positive relationship is maintained by using effective communication
with both our laboratory staff and our outreach clients. Customer
satisfaction is the primary goal of the client representative.
Client Support
Most commonly asked questions can be handled promptly by our
Customer Support staff. If, however, the question is more complex or
requires a physician consultation, the Pathologists at OSF System
Laboratory provide this service. For questions regarding routine
operations, our Customer Support staff is available 24 hours a day

Courier Services
Our Service will include routine pickup of specimens at a mutually
agreed upon time. Our Couriers remain in contact with our Laboratory
via cellular phones, allowing us to re-route them as necessary to
meet client needs. Routine courier service to pick up specimens is
encouraged.
