Annual Giving
St. Francis Society
Inspired
by the values of St. Francis of Assisi, this society was
formed in November 1998 to bring together supporters who
share in the Mission of OSF Saint Francis
Medical Center. The annual base of support from this society will enable OSF
Saint Francis to continue to meet the community's healthcare needs today while
planning and preparing for tomorrow.
Through
their generosity, members of the St. Francis Society will
play a major part in ensuring that
generations to come will have access to the medical center's
outstanding healthcare resources.
There
are many challenges facing healthcare today-an aging population,
abuse, an increase in respiratory illness, limited
access to health insurance, to name
a few. Responding to these challenges, OSF Saint Francis strives to provide
excellent healthcare, using the latest technology, innovative programs and
services.
Your gift
as a member of the St. Francis Society will have a lasting
effect on patients and their families. Membership is extended to those who
make a gift of $1000 or more annually.
St. Francis
Society members are recognized annually at a membership reception
hosted by a current St. Francis Society member.
Lifetime Giving Permanent
recognition is given to all donors whose cumulative gifts since
1986 total $2,500 or more. The wall is updated
biennially to indicate increased levels of support.
The
categories of support on our donor wall reflect the history and
tradition of The Sisters of the Third Order of St. Francis.
Each is named for a person whose life represented the ideal in
service to others, consistent with the Sisters' Mission. Some
are religious figures; others played a prominent role in local
history.
