Outpatient Surgery Center

Designed for Privacy and Respect

Having outpatient surgery at the Center for Health allows you many conveniences unavailable in most hospital settings. Valet parking and a private surgery entrance permit easy entry and exit the day of surgery. We've designed special areas for surgery patients, allowing you privacy or family togetherness. Even though we took great care in how we designed the waiting area, we don't intend for you to wait long. Preregistration by phone helps shorten the wait before your appointment.

Personal attention is also evident in the design of our private consultation areas. You and your family can meet here with your surgeon before or after your procedure.

Preparation and Recovery

Our patients use this area to prepare for surgery and for recovery after surgery. Unlike many hospitals, all of these rooms are private, allowing you and your family time behind a closed door without distractions of other patients or staff.

After surgery, you have the convenience of an on-site pharmacy to pick up post-surgical medications. Pharmacists are also a convenient, immediate resource to physicians who may need specific medications for patients during surgery or recovery.

Surgical Excellence

Personal conveniences aside, you can also take comfort in the Center for Health having state-ofthe-art surgical suites. Each of the six suites is equipped with the latest technology, including voice-activated endoscopic equipment. By merely speaking the command, surgeons can control multiple pieces of equipment, reducing time previously needed for manual adjustments.

Some of the surgeries performed at the Center for Health include:

  • Arthroscopic knee surgery
  • Breast biopsy
  • Carpal tunnel repair
  • Ear tubes
  • Eye surgery
  • Foot surgery (bunion, hammer toe, etc.)
  • Hernia repair
  • Laparoscopic abdominal surgery
  • Plastic surgery
