Located on the second floor, A Woman's Place celebrates the vitality and strength of all women, empowering them with the resources they need to achieve personal wellness -physical, spiritual and emotional.

Unique for Women

One-on-one attention with physicians and staff has always been a trait of OSF Saint Francis Women's Services. The environment and services of A Woman's Place serve to enhance that relationship. In addition to providing complete physicals, A Woman's Place offers programs/services such as:

  • Mammography and diagnostic procedures
  • Menopause management
  • Bone health/Osteoporosis
  • Heart screening
  • Urinary incontinence
  • Natural family planning
  • Acne and Hirsutism

Susan G. Kamen Breast Center

The Susan G. Komen Breast Center offers state-of-the-art breast imaging in an enviroment of privacy, warmth and efficiency. In situations where further examination is needed, we are also equipped to perform breast imaging ultrasounds, wire localization procedures, and core biopsies. If you are undergoing a biopsy, we have a private elevator used only to transport biopsy patients to the surgery area.

Breastfeeding Resource Center Our certified lactation consultants are dedicated to advise and support new mothers on the most effective techniques for successful and continued breastfeeding. The Center offers a variety of resources to help new mothers.

Complementary Therapies

A Woman's Place is an excellent source for non-traditional approaches to health, such as stress management and counseling, acupuncture, massage, and herbal/dietary supplements.
