Drug & Alcohol Screening Services
Drug & Alcohol Screening Services
Drug and alcohol screening is an essential risk management and productivity tool. Individuals using drugs and alcohol to such an extent that they are impaired at work represent a serious risk. The potentials for injury to themselves, co-workers and the public could prove very costly in direct and indirect ways. Insurance rates, replacement costs, legal bills, public reputation can all be affected.
OSF Saint Francis Center for Occupational Health provides drug screen services on a 24 hour basis. Whether drug screens are required by legal mandate or company policy, we offer certified technicians who will perform these screenings according to your protocol and documentation requirements. During evening and weekend hours, technicians are available on-call to OSF Saint Francis Emergency Department. This assures your company will consistently receive accurate and complete screenings. Due to the extra costs, an after-hours fee is applied when one of our drug screen technicians is called to the Emergency Department.
Drug screen services may include one or more of the following: Pre-employment; Random: Reasonable Suspicion; Post-injury: Post-accident and Return-to-work. Depending on legal and company protocols, drug screen types may include rapid drug tests, laboratory send-in, hair testing, blood alcohol; and breath alcohol testing.
