Clear and expedient communication is essential to the successful management of injury care, return to work and return to work productivity. OSF Saint Francis Center for Occupational Health offers Case Management to assure timely and accurate communication with the medical provider; the employee; the employer; and agents of the employer.
Our Case Managers have experience with the medical and workers' compensation standards that affect both employers and their employees. When a question arises regarding patient care or other related matters; the Case Manager is your link to our physicians and other clinical staff. Requests for medical records, clarification of job restrictions, information regarding specialist referrals, conveying essential information to the treating physician and multiple other areas are all part of the Case Manager's responsibilities.
