As one of the most integrated health care systems in the nation, OSF Saint Francis Medical Center has well developed protocols to help employers and employees no matter the time of day their needs occur.

24 Hour Medical Triage

During the regular operational hours of OSF Saint Francis Center for Occupational Health, your company and employees can access highly trained nurses to assist in injury care decisions by calling (309) 624-8525. This same number becomes a 24 hour resource for after hours injuries. The OSF Call Center receives after hours calls made to this number and will assist company representatives in medical decision making. The OSF Call Center uses nationally endorsed triage protocols. All after hours calls will then be referred to OSF Saint Francis Center for Occupational Health for next business day follow up.

24 Hour Drug Screen Services

The OSF Saint Francis Center for Occupational Health program uses a number of certified on call staff to do drug screens in the OSF Saint Francis Emergency Department. This system assures accuracy and compliance with company protocols where drug screens are required.

24 Hour Company Protocol Access

The same occupational health software system used by OSF Saint Francis Center for Occupational Health is also located in the OSF Saint Francis Emergency Department. Companies registered with the Occupational Health Center have their protocols for care and communication reviewed when the employee presents to the Emergency Department.

Expanded Hours Injury Care Through the OSF PromptCares

With three PromptCares strategically located in the Greater Peoria area, work injury care can be provided Monday - Friday from 9 am to 7 pm and on Saturdays & Sundays from 9 am to 5 pm.
