OSF Saint Francis Bariatric Program Coordinator Melinda received her Associates degree at Illinois Central College and her Bachelors in Nursing from the College of Nursing at Saint Francis. She has been an associate member of the American Society for Metabolic and Bariatric Surgery (ASMBS) since 2002. Melinda was selected to be an exam writer for the very first nurse credentialing by ASMBS. She has been instrumental in developing the Bariatric Program since the year 2000 and coordinates all aspects of our outpatient program. Melinda works closely with the surgeons to make sure your weight loss surgery is a success. If you have any medical questions before or after surgery she is always available to help you.
Mary Pyatt
OSF Surgical Weight Loss Center of Excellence, Secretary II
Mary has been with OSF Saint Francis Medical Center for over 35 years and with the Bariatric program since 2001. Mary is a charter member of the International Association of Administrative Professionals Tri-County Chapter since 2004. She is the main contact for the Bariatric Program and helps with the clerical aspects of our program. She is willing to answer your questions and help you through your journey of weight loss
Lori Walters, RD,LDN
OSF Surgical Weight Loss Center of Excellence, Dietitian
Lori received her Bachelor of Science degree in Dietetics from the University of Illinois. She then completed her dietetic internship in Atlanta, Georgia, at Georgia Baptist Medical Center. She started at OSF Saint Francis Medical Center in 1990 as a surgical dietitian and helped develop the OSF Saint Francis Bariatric Program in 2000. She is committed to helping you make healthy food choices and guide you in taking vitamins you need for life beyond weight loss surgery.
Josh Roy
OSF Surgical Weight Loss Center of Excellence, Exercise Specialist
Josh obtained his Bachelor's Degree from Illinois State University in Exercise Science. Currently he works for OSF in Medical Rehab Phase III and the Bariatric Program as an Exercise Specialist. He helps our Bariatric patients become physically and mentally strong with a strength training class called "Tone it Up".
Bridget Mattson
OSF Surgical Weight Loss Center of Excellence, Pharmacist
Bridget graduated from North Dakota State University in Fargo, North Dakota in 2000 with a Doctorate in Pharmacy (Pharm D). Before coming to OSF Saint Francis Medical Center in December of 2005, she worked in a retail Pharmacy setting. She is the leader of the Bariatric Pharmaceutical Education Program, and the Pharmacy contact for 4th Floor Surgical. Bridget and her team will be happy to help you with your medication needs or questions.
Gina Davis
Bariatric Patient Advocate, Peoria Surgical Group
Gina has worked for Peoria Surgical Group, Ltd for over 4 years. For the past several years, she has been doing insurance pre-certification for the surgeons. With this experience she has become very knowledgeable in regards to requesting insurance approval for Bariatric surgeries. Gina will be happy to answer any insurance questions you may have.
Robert C. Glazeski, Ph.D.
Clinical Psychologist
Dr. Glazeski received his B.S. and M.A. degree from Bradley University and his Ph.D. from the University of Southern Mississippi in 1982. He served as the Director of Behavioral Science Training for the University of Illinois Residency and Family Practice at St. Francis Medical Center from 1983 to 1993. He was also in private practice in Clinical Psychology from 1983 until 1996, at which time he joined the OSF Medical Group Psychiatry and Behavioral Health Practice.
He is a member of the American Psychological Association, the Association for Behavioral and Cognitive Therapy, and the National Council of Health Service Providers in Psychology.
Dr. Glazeski has been involved with the OSF Saint Francis Bariatric Program for eight years, performing psychological assessments and therapy services.
Patresa R. Brager, Ph.D.
Clinical Psychologist
Dr. Brager received her BS degree from Bradley University, and her Ph.D. from Illinois State University in 2002. She began post-doctoral training at Children's Hospital of Illinois in 2001 through 2002. Following her completion of her doctorate she joined Health Psychology at OSF Saint Francis Medical Center and OSF Medical Group Psychiatry and Behavioral Health Practices.
She is a member of the American Psychological Association and the National Council of Health Service Providers in Psychology.
