The Central
Illinois Pain Center is a partnership with the Associated
Anesthesiologists, S.C. that provides an interdisciplinary approach
to the management of acute and chronic
pain. The Center is staffed by a multidisciplinary team of
professionals who are specialists in pain management.

Entry into the Pain Center begins with a referral from a patient's
primary care doctor, specialist, surgeon or chiropractor. Treatment
options include injection therapy or comprehensive day treatment
services.
Evaluation of
the patient begins with a comprehensive assessment and medical
evaluation. After this assessment, a recommendation for a pain
management
program is made to the patient and referring physician based on the individual's
needs
and admission criteria. The program may consist of specific invasive procedures,
a comprehensive day treatment program, or a combination of each program.
