Dietetic Internship Program Director

Golda is a registered dietitian and Director of the Dietetic Internship Program at OSF Saint Francis Medical Center in Peoria, Illinois. She received her undergraduate education from Western Illinois University and completed her dietetic internship at Edward Hines VA Hospital in Chicago.  In May 2004, she earned her Master's degree in Health Services Administration.  As a clinical dietitian, Golda worked in Cardiac Rehab and taught healthy eating classes from 1995 to 1999.  From 1999 to 2004, Golda was a food service manager at OSF.  In 2004, Golda became the Director of the Dietetic Internship Program. 

 

Golda has appeared often in the media, including, in 2003 on Lifetime Television's Speaking of Women's Health program speaking on "Chocolate as Medicine".

She has been an active member of the Illinois Dietetic Association and served as a media representative and organized the association's annual meeting in 2004 and 2005.  She served as President of the Illinois Dietetic Association from 2006-2007.

Golda has be been recognized for her leadership abilities by receiving the Recognized Young Dietitian of the Year in 1998.  In 2001, she received the Forty Leaders Under Forty Award, Peoria, Illinois.  Dietetic Interns often describe her as high energy, supportive and well-connected.
