Application Materials - 2 points

Application Letter - 20 points
1. Completed the information as requested. 2. Personal motivation and good concepts of all fields of dietetics. 3. Concise, clear, well-organized, self-expressing, grammatically correct spelling. 4. Demonstrate good team work, creativity and interpersonal skills.
Grades - 28 points
1. Accumulative grade point average (4 points) 2. Physical and Biological Science (4 points) 3. Behavioral and Social Science (4 points) 4. Communication Science (4 points) 5. Professional Science (8 points) 6. Grades show consistent improvement (2 points) 7. Exceeds minimum requirements, such as extra courses benefiting dietitians, double major, or advanced degree, etc. (2 points)
Work Experience - 17 points
1. Volunteer or job position related to Dietetics. (5 points) 2. Any cumulative volunteer or job positions worked longer than six months. (5 points) 3. Position level with higher level of responsibility, such as teaching, management, etc. (3 points)
Extracurricular Activities - 6 points
1. Dietetic related clubs, organizations, special projects, etc. (including positions or office held) 2. Non-dietetic related clubs/organizations (i.e. sorority, athletic interest, etc.) 3. Dean list/awards
References - 18 points
1. How well this person knows the applicant. 2. Application of knowledge 3. Conceptual and analytical decision making skills 4. Communication skills 5. Interpersonal skills and team work 6. Leadership ability 7. Confidence, assertiveness, organizational ability, and work independently
